leaves are collected from Kottagiri hills which is 6500 feet above from the sea level. Kottagiri hills were faced to the west, so the sun shines morning to evening without any shades. There are no clouds so no mist
is formed underneath. This type of climate is recommended to Asthma patients. Any vegetable grown in this type of climate should be better and equivalent to medicine.
There is saying :- People who lives in Ootty, they lives for 50 years and people who lives in Coonnoor, they
will live for 70 years and the people who lives in Kottagiri they will never die.
